However, like ants, they are social insects that build and live in colonies with caste systems&#8211;simply, they are \u201cworkers\u201d, \u201csoldiers\u201d and \u201creproducers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Most termites do not have eyes with the exception of \u201creproducers\u201d. Termites are silent destroyers as their presence is hard to detect until it\u2019s too late.
